Current data handling
The current website provides inquiry forms for business review. When a visitor submits a form to the same-origin /api/inquiries endpoint, the backend stores the submission in a private database for operator review.
The site does not send outbound SMS, send outbound email, place calls, create accounts, deliver documents, collect signatures, or activate marketing subscriptions. Optional SMS and email consent checkboxes are unchecked by default and are recorded only as inquiry fields if selected.
Information collected
Inquiry submissions may include name, work email address, company, optional phone number, topic, message, optional consent values, a client-generated submission ID, and a website honeypot field used to identify automated spam submissions.
The backend performs syntactic and DNS/MX screening of email addresses. That screening checks format and mail-domain records only; it does not verify that the visitor owns or controls the email address.
Server logs and security records may include IP address, user agent, request time, endpoint, response status, and error details needed to operate and protect the site.
Use of information
Information may be used to review and respond to business interest, evaluate procurement fit, understand requested workflows, detect spam or misuse, maintain security, debug form delivery, and preserve records of the consent choices displayed and selected with an inquiry.
No outbound SMS or marketing email is sent from the current website. Any later communications program must be configured and disclosed separately from this inquiry intake flow.
Service providers and disclosure
The site may use service providers for hosting, the backend inquiry worker, private database storage, security monitoring, DNS/MX lookup, logging, and operational support. Providers should process information only as needed to provide those services, protect the site, comply with law, or follow operator instructions.
Information may also be disclosed if required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate misuse, to complete a business transaction, or with the direction of Apex Coverage Group LLC.
No mobile sale or marketing share: Mobile information, mobile numbers, messaging-originator opt-in data, and SMS opt-in consent will not be sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Retention
Inquiry records are held in the private database for operator review, security, compliance, and deletion handling until the operator deletes them or updates retention procedures. Server logs and security records may be retained as needed for operations, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and backup integrity.
Deletion, de-identification, and archive procedures may be updated if additional services or an active messaging program are later enabled.
Choices and rights
Visitors can choose not to provide optional company, phone, SMS consent, or email marketing consent fields. Browser validation requires only fields marked as required on the form.
Privacy or deletion requests should be submitted through the contact form while the planned support mailbox is not active yet. Applicable access, correction, deletion, portability, opt-out, and appeal rights depend on the visitor's location and the final operator policy.
Future SMS or email programs
A future GridRoute Verify SMS account-notification program, if activated, would require separate implementation, support procedures, STOP/HELP handling, consent records, carrier disclosures, and customer-specific authorization. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. A future marketing email program would require appropriate permission and an unsubscribe method.
Checking an optional consent box on the current inquiry form does not by itself start SMS messages, marketing emails, or any active subscription.
Security, changes, and contact
The operator should use safeguards appropriate for the information handled, including access controls, least-privilege permissions, secure transmission, logging, vendor diligence, and incident review. No security program can guarantee absolute protection.
